Customizable Support Center Widget

Adding your help center and it's contact form to any page as a pop-up widget is a quick 4-step process. For a demo, click "Demo" on the left hand side of this page. Read on to create your own!

Step 1: Create a "mini" Support Center theme

The first step is creating a new help center theme that has a smaller-than-usual width. To do this, log in to your Desk account, go to the Admin > Channels > Support Center > Web Themes > Add Theme. Create a new web theme and add the following Custom CSS: 

Step 2: Set up the styling

Next, add the following CSS to the webpage where you want the call-to-action button to appear on your website: 

Step 3: Add the widget to your page

Now just add the following HTML below to the body of the webpage where you want the CTA button. Be sure to replace the URL with ##### with the actual Support Center template URL that you just created. 

Step 4: Add jQuery to your page (if you haven't already)

Finally, if you're not already including jQuery on this page, you'll need to do that by adding the following within the HEAD of the page:
