Creating Trello Cards from New Desk Cases Using Zapier

If you want to automatically create Trello cards from your new Desk cases, you can do that using Zapier.
 
You will need:
● a Desk account
● a Trello account
● a Zapier account

Getting your accounts ready
 

To connect your Desk account to Zapier, you will need an active Desk account. More information about getting started with Desk on Zapier can be found here.
 
To link your Trello account to Desk, you will need an active Trello account. To learn about getting started with with Trello, look here. For more information on using Trello with Zapier, you can go here.
 

Connecting your accounts

1. Choose your Desk account from the list of accounts, or connect a new account.
2. To connect a new Desk account to Zapier, type your Account Name, or Custom Domain name into the appropriate field in the popup. On the following screen, grant Zapier access to your Desk account.

   

3. Choose your Trello account from the list of accounts, or connect a new account.
4. Choose a Board and a List option from the drop-down menus. If you wish to change the Name field from the default, you can choose to do that as well.

 

5. Click Save + finish!

Now test the Zap to make sure it works. Once you’re satisfied with the results, your newly created cases in Desk will generate a corresponding Trello card automatically.
 
Note: If you ever want to change this Desk and Trello integration, just go to your Zapier dashboard and tweak anything you'd like.
