How to Grant Account Login Access to Salesforce

Salesforce Support may ask you to Grant Login Access in order to assist you with your question, issue, or request. The Support Agent can log into the environment using your login to troubleshoot and fix issues stemming from your inquiry. You must grant access to support and specify a duration for access.

To Grant Login Access Please follow the steps detailed below.

For Lightning Experience:

  • Click on your avatar in the top right-hand side of the screen and choose "Settings".

  • ​Click on Grant Account Login Access from the left side section.

  • Always set the access expiration date for Support so our greater team can assist you
  • If the Agent specifically ask you for Desk Migration Wizard Support (Minimum of 1 month for technical escalations), then set access expiration date for the Desk Wizard as well.
  • Click Save.
